Hi, I'm Becky, the owner of Watkin & Berry. Here's a little bit about me and my business which I started back in 2020. I love being a florist as nothing beats bringing a little bit of joy into this world.

Meet the florist
I launched Watkin & Berry in September 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. Looking back, it was a pretty crazy thing to do but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith & trust in God’s plan for your life.
I started my journey into Floristry when I was just 14 years old. I was a ‘Saturday girl’ at a local florist & this is where I fell in love with floristry. I then went on to university to study for a different career and went back to floristry a few years later. According to research, being a florist is one of the happiest jobs you can have- I can confirm that is true!
I trained at Moreton Morell college & gained a distinction qualification in Level 2 & 3 floristry. In 2019 I won a Rose Bowl Award for the standard of my floristry. I always struggle to show off my achievements but I hope this helps to reassure my couples!
People often ask me about the name of my business. I am proud to say it’s named after my family. The name was originally inspired by my great grandma, Jane Watkin, who was a seamstress who set up her business after the war. 'Berry' is another family name & I think it sounds perfect for my brand.
Since I launched the business, things have grown from strength to strength and we are now on target for a bumper year of weddings. Every time an enquiry comes into my inbox I leap in the air! Running your own business is such a privilege & I love getting to know my couples. If you are looking for a wedding florist that is trustworthy & puts you at ease then look no further! I can’t wait to meet you.
